The Poma FreshTM consumer app is a simple mobile phone download that enables comparisons to determine which products on a grocery shelf are the freshest. It does not provide an absolute value; rather, it will tell you which of the of the products on display is the ripest/freshest/best at that particular time and location.
For Professionals
The professional app includes the ability to calibrate the phone so that absolute measurements canbe made, instead of relative measurements. The professional application includes the ability to autotag images by shipment or vendor and archives the data to a corporate website location.
