PomaFresh Introduces Two New Spectral Products

A new inspection roller conveyor from PomaFresh provides packers with digital cameras and displays that allow for rapid inspection of potato lots for pressure bruises and diseases. The conveyor has a large viewing screen that enhances the ability to detect defects, allowing for rapid removal of suspect produce.

• This new table should be ideal for potato seed lot inspections and quality control of shipments with digital documentation.
• PomaFresh also has introduced a new potato chip color inspection station for potato chip processors. The new machine uses spectral technology to check the color to established industry standards.
